As part of its role in supporting stability in commercial transactions, the Rafah Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry followed up on the work of the Commercial Arbitration Committee, which successfully resolved a financial dispute exceeding 70,000 New Israeli Shekels (NIS) between two traders, referred to as S.Q and S.T.
The settlement was reached through arbitration sessions chaired by Mukhtar Sami Fojou, during which the details of the dispute and the financial obligations between both parties were carefully reviewed, leading to a consensual solution that preserves the rights of all parties involved.
The arbitration sessions were attended by the Chamber’s Legal Advisor, Mr. Wael Qeshta, along with Attorney Abdelqader Abu Alwan, who supervised the legal and procedural aspects of the process, ensuring that all proceedings were conducted in accordance with applicable legal principles.
The Chamber emphasized that activating commercial arbitration mechanisms contributes to resolving disputes in a professional and amicable manner, enhances trust within the business community, and helps prevent the escalation of commercial conflicts.
