Rafah Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Since its inception, the Chamber has been committed to strengthening Rafah's economic role, developing the business environment, and providing commercial, legal, and technical services to its members—merchants, industrialists, and farmers—despite the exceptional circumstances the governorate faces due to the blockade and repeated wars, which have inflicted significant damage on infrastructure and economic facilities.
Despite these challenges, the Chamber has persevered in its mission with unwavering determination. This includes representing the private sector, advocating for its rights, participating in reconstruction efforts, supporting damaged projects, and developing initiatives and technical and financial support programs that contribute to the revitalization of commercial, industrial, and agricultural activity in the governorate.
Today, the Rafah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is steadily progressing towards digital transformation and institutional development by automating its services and adopting technology in its operations. This allows it to keep pace with current demands and serve the business community with high efficiency. It is a young institution with a strong spirit, embodying the will and resilience of Rafah, and working resolutely to build a more prosperous and stable economic future for the governorate and its people.
Vision
The Rafah Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry aims to be a strong and effective pioneering institution that represents the voice of the business community in Rafah, and works to empower the private sector and enhance its role in supporting the Palestinian national economy, and to contribute to the reconstruction and development of Rafah Governorate in a way that achieves its economic and social prosperity, despite the challenges and difficult circumstances it is going through, in order to reach a prosperous Rafah and a sustainable economy.
Message
The Rafah Chamber of Commerce and Industry seeks to represent, support, and protect the interests of merchants and business owners in Rafah, defend their rights in various forums, and work to improve the business environment and enhance the productive and investment capacity of local institutions. The Chamber also actively participates in reconstruction efforts and provides the necessary support for the rehabilitation of damaged facilities, in cooperation with governmental and international organizations. This contributes to restoring economic activity, creating new job opportunities, and strengthening the resilience of the people of Rafah in the face of economic and social challenges.
